Barbara A. Weinburger

Ponte Vedra Beach - Barbara A. Weinburger, age 86, Our Loving Mother, resident of Ponte Vedra Beach, florida, passed away on Sunday, January 24th, 2021, with her daughters by her side. Born in Detroit Michigan, attended school at St. Alphonsus through 8th grade, and a 1952 graduate of Fordson High School. Moved to Florida in 1993. She is survived by her daughter, Lori, Son, Warren, daughter, Marcie (Greg), Stepdaughter, Charlene (Wade), Step Son, Rocky (Andy), Stepdaughter, Mary (Tim). Blessed with 17 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren, Cousins and Niece. She was looking forward to being Reunited with her Oldest Son, Mark, who passed in 2015. Barbara was proceeded in death by her parents, Joseph and Francis, brother, Bill, husband, Joseph, Son, Mark, and her Grandsons, Nicholas and Justin. Beyond her love for family and friends, her passions included, Reading, listening to smooth jazz, traveling, walking the beach, playing cards, dancing, long conversations, volunteering and had a Great Passion for the Military, and our service members. She worked for 10 years at Henry Ford Community College in Dearborn, Michigan and was very involved with the Dolphin Cove Community Association for many years in Florida. A Celebration of Barbara's Life will take place later this year in Michigan, when family and friends can gather again. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Salvation Army, Wounded Warriors and Disabled Vets.
