EDWARD ZYJEWSKI Obituary

ZYJEWSKI EDWARD F. Age 94 of Wyandotte, Michigan. Left to be with our Lord on March 21, 2015 surrounded by his son Edward A., nephew Ron and girlfriend Tammy, and family friend Vince Van Tiem and his wife Doris. A World War II Navy veteran he loved his life and loved living. Loved Hawaii. Loved his late wife, Marie. Loved his only son, Edward. Loved his nephew, Ron. Loved his late friend and companion, Pat Truskowski. Loved playing '31' with his Wyandotte Senior Citizens group. Loved long drives 'out the country'. Loved animals. Loved Detroit and loved Wyandotte. Loved being loved and appreciated by others. He is survived by his son Edward A. and many nieces and nephews. His smile and friendly manner was infectious and will be greatly missed by anyone who knew him. The twelfth of thirteen children, "Big Ed" is predeceased by his brother Walter, Alexander, Tadeusz and Frank, and sisters Bertha, Lillian, Josephine, Helen, Genevieve and Lottie. He is a founding member of PLAV Post 74, member of American Legion Post 217 and Knights of Columbus 1802, Wyandotte. We are all very proud of you, and the man that you are. Viewing will be held at Czopek Funeral Home, Wyandotte on Thursday, March 26th, 4-9 p.,m. and Friday, March 27th, 1-9 p.m. Funeral Mass Saturday, March 28th, 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Scapular; burial at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
