Florence Kaston Obituary
Falls Church, VA - Florence passed away peacefully at Powhatan Nursing Home in Falls Church, Virginia of natural causes. A longtime resident of Detroit and later Farmington, Michigan, she attended Wayne State University where she received her BA in Music Education. She taught music at Clinton Elementary School. Florence was an accomplished pianist and accompanist and a founding member of the Farmington Musicale.
Florence is survived by her daughters Nicole Suszek (Perry) and Julie Kaston (Roger Wentzel), sister Irene Giessl, sister-in-law Sue Biffl (John), eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, many nephews and nieces and dearest friends Barb Hensley and Edwin Savelly. Florence was preceded in death by husband George Kaston and brother John Biffl.
Private interment in Spring of 2019 in Detroit.
