Gerald Parent Obituary
Detroit - Gerald (Jerry) Parent, born 9.17.27 in Detroit. Beloved husband of Sheila for 64 years. Loving father of John, Dan, Rob and Chris and two special daughter in laws, Dennise and Kristine. Also proud grandfather of Marty and Sean. Jerry's love of sports let him to coaching many of the teams his sons played on. Jerry grew up in Detroit. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He worked as a sales engineer until he was 82. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of the Henry Ford Village in Dearborn at 1:30 on Thursday August 2nd. The family wishes to thank Heart to Heart Hospice for all their special care.
