G. Stuart Walley

WALLEY, G. Stuart April 23, 1904 - September 16, 2008 Passed away in Ottawa in his 105th year. Stuart had a wonderful life. He was born in Ingersoll, Ontario where he grew up. He attended the Ontario Agriculture College (Guelph University) where Stuart graduated in Entomology in 1926. Stuart was hired as an Entomologist with the Department of Agriculture in Ottawa where he worked until he was 65. Stuart married Ena (Decelles). They had a lovely life together until she passed away. He married again to Eleanor (McKinny) and enjoyed a life together until she died in 1996. He will be remembered by his family as a kind soul, with a sharp mind and an ability to tell wonderful stories. Friends and family are invited to visit the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry Funeral Home, 315 McLeod St., Ottawa on Thursday September 18 from 2-4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
