Coach Hoskins was a great man just found out recently that he passed away I wrote about him my first paper in college my first English paper because he made such an impact on me I'll never forget his signature basketball move when he would grab you by your thigh as he dribbled right by you for a lay up that was a grown man move old school NBA it was so funny everytime he did it nothing but respect and love for coach and family I'll never forget him one of the best coaches in the state I'll never forget when he pulled the team off the field in the seventies against Livonia Franklin in the state playoffs i think those were the first ever that showed me who he was even before I got to Southwestern I tried to play football for coach but my physical form was lost as a freshman and they went to the city championship and won and I had to take my uniform off and put my clothes back on I was able to ride on the bus and attend the game standing on the sidelines but being a kid without a dad i got frustrated and never played football again because of that what a dump bonehead move but back to coach he was just a great person great coach wonderful personality he sure knew how to motivate kids and he made boys into young men I think about him daily Kevin (FRY) S O FOR LIFE BABY. THANK YOU COACH. I COULD TELL YOU LOVED US ALL & ONLY WANTED THE BEST FOR US I SAW IT IN YOUR EYES. I FEEL SO THANKFUL TO HAVE MET YOU DURING THIS LIFE.

I was with Joe for 5 year's as his head of remolding on his rental property's. I leaned a lot from Joe and we spent a lot of time together. I miss him! Everytime he bought a new property his face would light up and Brite eyes and smile. He really did love life! A man with the touch of good in his heart!

Coach Hoskins was my gymnastics teacher in High School. He was the greatest person alive. It breaks my heart to know that he passed away at such young age. Awesome Man.
