JOHN P. BREEDEN

John Perkins Breeden, Jr. was born in Helena MT on November 23, 1918, to John Perkins Breeden and Elizabeth Hall Breeden and died April 12, 2003, in The Sequoias, San Francisco. He served in the army as a photographer from November 1942 until the end of WWII. He married Genie Henderson in 1948. He worked for Ford Motor Co. for 32 yrs in photography and public relations. He is survived by his brother, Bill, in Keizer, OR, his five children: Lucy (Jon Kilburn) in Whittier, CA; Betsy (Darrell) Dunham in Carbondale, IL; Margaret (Maurice Marr) in Dexter, MI; Emily in Salem, OR; and David (Nancy Hyland) in Ithaca, NY; and seven grandchildren: Joel, Emily, Andrew, Carrie and John Dunham and Katie and Lucy Breeden. He was preceded in death by first wife, Genie Breeden; second wife, Cordelia Metzger Breeden; and son, Bill. Contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.
