Roberta Ivon Obituary
Grosse Pointe Woods - age 94, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2020, with her children by her side. She is survived by her children Peter J. Oldani and Genevieve Oldani-Caruso (Martin Caruso), her brother James Ivon (Mary), and her grandchildren James Caruso and Miranda Caruso, as well as many loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Robert Ivon (Jennie) and her sister Margaret Ivon. During her career as a secretary for the City of Detroit, she worked at the Detroit Fire Department, the Detroit Historical Museum, and the Department of Employment and Training. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, knitting, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. Visitation Wednesday, 5-9 PM and Thursday, 12-9 PM at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack, Grosse Pointe Woods. In State Friday 11:30 AM at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 21620 Great Mack, St. Clair Shores until the time of her Mass at 12:00 Noon. ahpeters.com
