VARTANOFF SAMUEL, May 5, 2015. Age 87 of Allen Park. Beloved husband of Delores for 67 years. Loving father of Greg (Elizabeth), Samuel (Ellen) Jr., John, and Gary (Martha) Vartanoff. Dear brother of Dorothy Bordeau. Dearest grandfather of Douglas, Jonathan, Laura, Sara, Jeremy, Jonathan, Jordan, Lisa and Natalia. Loving great-grandfather of Mackenzie, Isabella, Mila, Luke, Grayson, Gavin, Oliver and Ivy. He is preceded in death by his parents Samuel and Edith and brothers Lawrence and Charles. Samuel was a long time Detroit Edison employee. He will be deeply missed by family and friends. Visitation Thursday, May 07, 2015 from 2- 8 p.m. with a 6:00 p.m. Rosary at the Allen Park Chapel of Voran Funeral Home, 5900 Allen Rd. (313) 928-2300. In state Friday 9:30 a.m. with a 10:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection to follow at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 19624 Wood St, Melvindale. Interment St. Hedwig Cemetery.
