Ronald Wayne Ware Ronald Wayne Ware, 77, of Cuero passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2022. He was born May 19, 1945 in Cuero to Granvil and Ruthie Hopkins Ware. He married Wilma Jean Asbury on February 24, 1970 in Michigan. He proudly served in the United States Navy. He worked for and retired as a supervisor from Mount Vernon Mills. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and visiting with family and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife of fifty-two years, Wilma Jean Ware; daughters, Shellie E. (Todd) Lucas, Rhawnie Ware, Juell Brandes and DeAnna (Clifford) Lantz all of Cuero; sons, Christopher Ware of San Antonio and John (Lisa) St. Clair of New Braunfels; sister, Dorothy (Jackie) St. Clair of Magnolia; brother, George (Josie) Ware of Cuero and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held Saturday, October 15, 2022, 4:00 to 6:00 PM at Freund Funeral Home with military honors to begin at 5:30 PM.

Honorary Pallbearers include Monty Key, Michael Ray, Bobby Pompa, Joe Adams, Jr., Dave Newman, Carlton "Mac" McBride, Tammie Newman, Lisa Rickman, Emmerson Rickman; grandson, Rider Brandes and his hunting and fishing buddies and friends.
