A Reminiscence

YES, thou art gone! and never more
Thy sunny smile shall gladden me;
But I may pass the old church door,
And pace the floor that covers thee.

May stand upon the cold, damp stone,
And think that, frozen, lies below
The lightest heart that I have known,
The kindest I shall ever know.

Yet, though I cannot see thee more,
'Tis still a comfort to have seen;
And though thy transient life is o'er,
'Tis sweet to think that thou hast been;

To think a soul so near divine,
Within a form so angel fair,
United to a heart like thine,
Has gladdened once our humble sphere.

Dear "Cuz"
We hadn't seen each other for quite some time, but that doesn't take away the pain of loss. Rest in Peace with GOD!

I always knew Alice to put other people ahead of her own interests. She did this with me and I will alyways feel sad that I did not appreciate it at the time. I loved Alice for the kind of person she was. Your brother, Skip

Alice would lead, guide and give free motherly advise to every one of her "kids". She cared more for others than herself. Alice was a special lady. As friends, we are sad that she has left us, yet glad she has gained the ultimate victory . R.I.P. Alice, we will never forget you!

Alice,
You will always be remembered and missed by so many people that you came in contact with. You were always there no matter what the problem was and God has a special place for people like you. You were a "mom" to so many and never asked for anything in return. My kids and I will never forget you and we will keep your family in our prayers. Thanks again for everything. You are loved by all.

Just wanted to say how deeply saddened I was to read about the passing of Alice. She was truly unique. What I liked most was her intuitive nature. She was savvy to say the least! She'll be missed dearly.
