Funeral: 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Christ Community Church, 13701 Hillcrest, Dallas, Texas 75243, the Rev. John Daniels officiating. Burial: Restland Memorial Park. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Restland Funeral Home.
Memorials: Christ Community Church.
Alvin was the owner of Winburn Construction. He was a World War II veteran and served in Germany as a radio operator.
Survivors: His loving wife, Margie Winburn; children, June Presser of Rowlett, Julie Graham of Granbury, Shelly Cates of Fort Worth, Dwane Morris of Red Oak and Lee Winburn of Abilene; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Betty Sue Smith and Doty Stainbrook; brothers, Don C. Winburn and Loyd Ray Winburn; and numerous nieces and nephews.
