Funeral: 3:30 p.m. Friday in Greenwood Chapel. Entombment: Greenwood Mausoleum. Visitation: 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Greenwood Funeral Home.
Pallbearers: Danny Gomez, Ricky Gomez, Stevie Martinez, Jared Castro, Justin Nail, Rocky Castro, Kevin Nail and Joel Reed.
Anita was born Oct. 2, 1940, in Luling. She was preceded in death by her son, Michael T. Castro.
Survivors: Husband, Hilario Castro; daughters, Kay Nail and Connie Castro-Reed; son, Larry Wayne Castro; mother, Francisca Martinez; sisters, Mary DeLeon, Stella Jimenez, Lora Acosta-Stroope, Maria Magdalena Gomez and Helen Jenkins; brother, Domingo Martinez; 16 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.

To the family of my Dearest Aunt Nita:
I will miss her forever, and I know that I will see my Aunt Anita again when Jesus calls me home. I know that she is up in Heaven with Christ and that she is well again. Aunt Nita being gone will take a long time to get over. My heartaches with all of you, I will be here if you need me, I love you all and I loved Aunt Nita too. You all will remain in my prayers.
