Ann Damron, 91, of Arlington, formerly a longtime resident of Grand Prairie, died Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2013, at an Arlington hospital. Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 727 Hill St., Grand Prairie. Interment: Moore Memorial Gardens in Arlington. Visitation: The family will receive friends 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Donnelly's Colonial Funeral Home, 606 W. Airport Freeway, Irving. Memorials: American Heart Association or Tejas Girl Scout Council. Born Sept. 19, 1921, in Dallas, she was the daughter of William Holland Kendrick and Martha Elizabeth Van Huss Kendrick. She married Marion Lee Damron on Feb. 21, 1950, at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Grand Prairie. She lived in Grand Prairie from 1950 until 1997 and moved to Arlington. A homemaker, she was active in the PTA and was a proud leader of Girl Scout Troop 918 in Grand Prairie for many years. She was a volunteer at Medical Center of Arlington. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Lee Damron, in 1985; and a son, William Edward Harris, in 2007. Survivors: Daughter, Donna Davis and husband, Michael, of Arlington; granddaughters, Jessica Craig, Connie Diane Perkins and husband, Eric, William "Billy" Harris and wife, Mandy, and Cindy Harris; great-grandchildren, LaTona Humbolt and husband, Bill, E.J. Perkins, Garry Huckaby and wife, Jenny, Billy Harris, Jayna Huckaby and Derick Perkins; and great-great-grandchildren, Kylie Humbolt, Kinley Humbolt, Avianna Briones and and Remington Perkins.
