Bob was owner of Bob Moore's Sports Center, Driving Range and Batting Cages in Colleyville. He purchased the land in 1978 and opened the driving range in 1983, which he operated to leave a legacy to his children. His children continue to operate the range and are proud to be the third generation in the driving range business. Bob was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing and hunting. He loved to fish with his grandchildren. He loved telling a good story and would do anything for friend. Bob loved to work with his hands and could build and fix anything.

Happy Birthday Bob. Today would have been the big 60. I have been thinking of you often as of late. I am sure because of the time line involved. I take the time every evening to enjoy the peaceful moments of my life and I am rushed with remembrances of your life stories you shared with me. It is really surprising how many of those stories have been stored in my mind for all these years. Thanks for sharing your life and your stories with me.

My sympathy to Bob's family. He was a good guy. We went to school together from 3rd grade to graduation. The last time I saw him was at the batting cages while we watched my son bat, about 14 yrs ago. He was always the same old Bob. Rest in peace my old friend.

Lisa, Bobby & Family,
Our sincerest condolences on the loss of your Dad. We are so sorry to have only just learned about his his tragic death or we'd certainly have paid our respects earlier. Our family has many happy memories of the driving range, having spent many evenings there praciticing when our sons & daugter were on the L.D. Bell golf team & later on as college & adult golfers. Bob always had a story to tell while Lisa & Bobby were sweet friends to our children also the same age. Our heartfelt thoughts & prayers are with you all.

My hart felt condolences for all of the Moore family. Bobby and I were friends throughout high school. I lost touch with him in the following years but often thought of Bobby when my mind drifted back to the good old days when we were growing up in Euless and going to Bell High School. Though I have lost a friend, the world has lost a good man.

It saddened my heart to hear about Bob. He was such a sweet man. His love for his family was one of the many wonderful qualities about Bob. No longer will there be "the one that got away", for his place in Heaven will be his Lake in Eden and he will surely rest in peace.
My heartfelt sympathy

Sally and kids, Bob was the best lake neighbor and friend anyone could hope for. He made the lake front more beautiful with all of the trees he planted there. We have a tree planted in our back yard now that he grew from a small acorn. With deepest sympathy we are thinking of you all.

Sally, Bobby, and Lisa you are in our hearts, and minds. In this day and time there are few men like Bob. In his true spirit he would look you in the eye and make a deal on a handshake. His love for the family business, trees, and being a true outdoorsman, will never be forgotten. Kurt and Donna Kauffman and kids.

Be Still
Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.
Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.
If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.
