Bobby Davis Obituary

Bobby Davis Sr., 67, a retired electrician, died Wednesday, April 13, 2005, at his home.

Funeral: 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Biggers Funeral Chapel. Burial: Noah Cemetery in Arlington. Dr. Jerry W. Locke will officiate. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Mr. Davis, a lifelong area resident, worked as an electrician for 38 years prior to his retirement. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by parents, Harvey E. and Mattie Jones Davis; brother, Harvey Davis Jr.; and grandson, Eric Davis.

Survivors: Sons, Bobby Davis Jr., Ricky Davis and Donny Davis; the children's mother, Johnnie Williams; brother, Jimmy Davis and his wife, Betty; sisters, Cleta Riley, Lucille Smith, Betty McCrary and Marcelle Thomas and her husband, "Yankee"; and grandchildren, Bobby Davis III, Kellen Reed, Kristen Davis and Krystal Cosby.

My Thoughts are with the Davis Family. I Knew Bobby well,(my ex husband, Robert Hernandez Hung around there alot). I had not seen Bobby in several years. I knew him as the King of Sansom Park. I know he is greatly missed by all.
