Bobby Frank "Bob" Stevens

Bobby "Bob" Frank Stevens passed away Monday, Dec. 7, 2015. Service: 2 p.m. Thursday at Zion Presbyterian Church in Furrs, Miss. Interment: Zion Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Baldwin Memorial Funeral Home of Pontotoc, Miss., is in charge of the arrangements. Pallbearers will be Wesley Stevens, Tracy Linley, Derrell Seale, Steve Day and Kerry Crew. Honorary pallbearer will be James Jenkins. Bob was born Sept. 3, 1937, in Fort Worth to Atticus Leo Stevens and Beulah Ballew Stevens. He attended Fort Worth schools, General Motors Institute and Texas Christian University and was proud to have served two tours of duty in the U.S. Army. He had resided in Furrs, Miss., area for the last 43 years. The family is especially grateful to his caregivers, Tracy Linley, Derrell Seale and Kerry Crew, who devoted themselves to Bob and his family during their time of need. He was preceded in death by his parents, Atticus and Beulah Ballew Stevens; and siblings, Rose Ann Stevens Polson, Sandra Nell Stevens Day and Donny Stevens. Survivors: His wife of 54 years, Doris Kirkpatrick Stevens; son, Michael Stevens of Fort Worth and his wife, Vickie; son, John Harvey of Springtown and wife, Vicki; daughter, Dorinda Stevens of Pontotoc, Miss.; grandchildren, Spenser Stevens, Skyler "Little Bubba" Vanderford and Morgan Harvey; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other loved ones.
