Man, thoughts about Keith came hard and fast this evening after a beer league softball game of all things. I remember times as far back as first grade, optimist baseball and rec league soccer. Really wish I could reach out and reminisce. The day I heard of Keith's unfortunate passing was an unwelcome reminder of how fragile our existence really is.

Mr. Roscoe, please know that your son made a difference and the years we spent together are a treasured reminder to myself and many others of how to be a friend.

But I would never have said good bye,as You are ALWAYS AND FOREVER in our hearts, all the many lives you touched while we was blessed to have you with us. I miss coming to your place (while skipping jr high..shhh dont tell lol) and snuggling with my teddy bear...You was soo sweet and big hearted and I know now I have an angel watching over us all. I have always wondered where you was and when I asked a few friends and found out what had happened I was sicken to know that we all lost such a wonderful man, friend, son, brother, and teddy bear. You are forever in our hearts and are thought of daily ...I love you, Roscoe...and I too remember you learning to dance in Ashley's living room...Lol

I do remember when you came over for dinner and I was in awww at how incredibly tall you were and you had to dunk to walk through the doorway. I am so thankful that my husband had such a great friend in you and even better memories!! You will always be a part of our lives and I know we will meet again one day.
Keep an eye on all of us we love and miss you !!

March 17, 2010

well, where do I start. We got some what alittle closure last week with the conviction and sentence of this person that did this selfish act of taking you away from all of us. We celebrated your birthday on Saturday and the outcome of the week with alot of your friends and your family and had a good time and remembering you. Got your framed note by way of your big "SIS" and liked it alot and the Quilt that the girls put together and Maragret sewed toegther is sooooooo nice. I guess you saw the toast of your favorite a couple of times. I want you to know how much I miss you and wish I could have 5 minutes with you to say some things to you but you hear them in my thoughts.
Ilove you

This is certainly not the way I expected to be reminded of such a good dude. I knew Keith from kindergarten at Crow all through school wherever we may have attended. We played baseball, football, and soccer together for years as well. I am saddened that we didn't keep in touch very well but the random encounters over the years were always cool. Keith was an outstanding friend whom I am proud to have known. My sincere condolences go out to all who are touched by this loss.

April 22, 2009

I have read every one of these beautiful posts from ones that knew my son and I'm so grateful he knew each one of you and that you brought joy in his life and how you have brought that same joy in my life in how you have showed it on here and at his service or viewing, that I can not put it in to words enough, but can only say "THANK YOU" and yes you have lost a dear friend and I have lost my son, my "ROCK" , he will forever be with me each and every day until I see him in heaven with my Mom and Dad and then Keith (Roscoe) and I can get the Sam's Bunch team going up there and now we can add my Dad to the team. He had a awesome knuckle ball and he taught me and I taught keith and Keith taught Richie.
Love and miss you son

My husband and I were saddened hearing about the death of your son Brian Keith. I don't know if we have come in contact with you and your family at the ballparks over the years; but our son is Todd Rowe. Todd has been keeping us informed and I will add you and your family to my Prayer Request that I have on the Internet with friends and family. Losing a child of any age has to be very hard and we both will pray that you will be given the strength to endure the days ahead. Please know you and yours will be in our prayers and that prayers will be said by many others. Also prayers that the authorities will see that justice will be done.

I new you as Roscoe. The man that had a wonderful sence of humor and an infectious laugh. You knew how to have a good time and made sure everyone around you did also. Where ever you went, you had friends or made them quickly. What a horrible tragedy for his family and friends. You touched so may lives and probably saved a few too! I will remember the 8 years I was able to call you my friend. This is truely heartbreaking. So young. So sweet. So kind. And so generous with your love and friendship. I will miss you but I will also remember you always.
Hang in there...

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. I was privileged enough to know Roscoe though I have not seen him in a long time. Used to run into him constantly at Northside and he was a true pleasure to know and a great guy.

I will always remember your sense of humor and that you always tried to include everyone in the fun. The world is a sadder place without you. You will be missed by many and forgotten by none. May God keep you in his arms.

I can see your halo from here sweetie …. but then again, I’ve been staring at your halo since the day I met you. I am so lucky to have seen you so recently and I thank god for that time. You’re an amazing friend Roscoe and I know you’ll continue to look in on us and protect us as you always have. We are all so luck to have known your heart and are privileged to have been invited in. I love you my friend and will miss you always!

It has been many years since I had seen you but you will never be forgotten. You were one of my best friends out at Northside and you always looked over me and even drove me home when I should not have driven. You were my dance partner everytime our song Little Rock came on and I think of you everytime I hear that. You are missed greatly and will never be forgotten.
