Funeral: 11 a.m. Thursday at Ed C. Smith & Bros. Funeral Home, 4419 Samuell Blvd., Dallas. Burial: Cox Cemetery. Visitation: 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorials: National Parkinson Foundation, 1501 NW Ninth Ave., Miami, Fla. 33136, or Justin Cowboy Crisis Fund, in care of PRCA, 101 Pro Rodeo Drive, Colorado Springs, Colo. 80919.
Bunk was born Feb. 24, 1920, in Dallas. He was a World War II veteran and a longtime member of the Dallas County Sheriff's Posse and the Mesquite Rodeo.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Viola Patterson.
Survivors: His daughter, Glenn Etta Cody; son, Bubba Patterson and his wife, Pat; son, John Patterson and his wife, Raine; grandchildren, Johnny Ray and his wife, Shellie, Gerald Ray and his wife, Lisa, Ray Etta, Ty and Colt; and great-grandchildren, Shelby Lynn and Macy Rae.
