Funeral: 2 p.m. Wednesday at Godley United Methodist Church of Godley. Burial: Godley Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Crosier-Pearson-Mayfield Funeral Home of Cleburne.
He was born July 6, 1915, in Rotan to Amos R. and Velma G. Wren. He was a 32nd-degree Scottish Rite Mason and Shriner, a member of the Hella Temple out of Garland, and Godley Lodge #822 where he received his 50-year pin and certificate in 1998. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sula Veldon Wren, and his eldest son, Jerry Lee Wren.
Survivors: Sons, Lindy Jack Wren of Watauga and Mike Wren Sr. of River Oaks; grandchildren, Kelly Bland of Breckenridge, Jennifer Wren of Munday, Michael Wren Jr. of San Marcos and Marcia Hunt of Watauga; six great-grandchildren; and numerous friends.
