Charles Davis Obituary

Charles Arthur Davis, 76, of Longview went to be with his Lord on Monday morning, Nov. 12, 2007, at his residence.
Funeral: 4 p.m. Wednesday at Crossroads Community Church, Pastor Bud Miller officiating.
Mr. Davis was born Nov. 25, 1930, in Fort Worth and moved to Longview in 1988. He was founder and president, for 30 years, and partnered with Bill Pierce and Jim Underwood in the Pierce, Davis and Associates Advertising Agency. He was a loving husband, caring father, exceptional granddad and devoted friend. He served his country in the U.S. Army.
Survivors: His wife, June of Longview; son, Wayne Davis and wife, Susan, of Kingsport, Tenn.; daughter, Charlynn Bradford and husband, Rick, of Longview; grandchildren, Colt, Riki and Tessia Bradford, Allison and Madeline Davis; and sister-in-law, Judy Tate.

I will aways keep the memories of going to my daddy's work on saturdays and cleaning the office . all 3 of the guys would be there along w/ merle and at lunch time we would go eat a big lunch and i thought i was the luckiest girl alive to be sitting next to all these guys. I will also remember coming home to longview and visisting my pops and there would be charlie with my dad going to town or what not. the memories will always be with me. my thoughts and prayers are with the davis family.love kim ann
