Christian "Chris" Patrick Harvey, 40, of Tyler, Texas, passed away Friday, July 26, 2013. Chris was born April 19, 1973, in Denver, Colo. He was a graduate of Trinity High School in Euless, Texas, and had been employed by Stein Mart for over 20 years where he was the General Manager of the Tyler store. Chris loved all sports and was a huge fan of European football, especially Arsenal FC. He was a great dad to his two dogs Riley and Butters. Chris' sense of humor was amazing and he was a kind, considerate and caring friend to everyone. Chris was preceded in death by his brother, Clayton Charles; grandparents, Clayton Jr. and Rosemary Harvey of Denver, Colo., and John and Cora DeReu of Sioux Falls, S.D. Chris was the beloved son of Mary Jo Harvey of Bedford, Texas, and Clayton Harvey III of Euless, Texas, dearest brother and best friend a brother could ever have to Clayton "Chip" Harvey IV of Tyler, Texas, and Elizabeth "Liz" Harvey of Dallas, Texas. Chris is also survived by his Uncle Mike (Pam) DeReu and Cousin Kyle of Custer, S.D. Chris will be greatly missed by his family, many friends, his Stein Mart family and all who knew him.
