North Richalnd Hills, Texas - Clyde Conditt passed from this life into the glory of heaven on Sunday, October 17, 2021.
Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Springdale Baptist Church, 3016 Selma St., Fort Worth, Texas 76111. Interment to follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Mount Olivet Chapel.
Clyde was born on February 9, 1934, in Crane, Texas. He was a lifelong Fort Worth resident; having graduated from Amon Carter High School, he was known as "Pencil" for his skinny stature and tall height.
He lived a fulfilling life loving his family, God, and getting together on special occasions. During the summers, he would make the best homemade Big Red ice cream. He loved to work in the garden, hunt, fish, build model airplanes, and spend time at the lake in his earlier years. He was a member of Messiah Baptist Church.
Clyde was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, and sister.
He is remembered by his wife, Shirley Conditt; daughter, Shelley Brawner; granddaughters, Ashley Cox and Lainey Spohn; grandsons, Harley Brawner, Nathan Brawner, Dakota Brawner and Reese Spohn; and great-granddaughter, Claire Cox.
