Craig Holland Obituary

Craig Holland

June 6, 1956 - December 8, 2025

Midlothian, Texas - William "Craig" Holland, age 69, passed away on December 8, 2025. Born on June 6, 1956, Craig lived a life defined by military service, dedication to family, and an unmistakable sense of humor.

Craig proudly served in the United States Army, a commitment that reflected his deep sense of duty and loyalty. During his military career, he pursued higher education, earning associate's, bachelor's, and master's degrees-accomplishments that supported a successful career in information technology. Though not religious, Craig lived by strong values of integrity, love, and devotion to those he held dear.

A deeply family-oriented man, Craig was a devoted husband to Linda Holland, with whom he would have celebrated 50 years of marriage on June 25, 2026. He was a loving father to Jeremey Holland, Luis Chavez, and Adrienne Chavez; and a cherished brother to Eileen Husketh. Craig was especially proud of his grandchildren, Lauren Chavez, Gabriel Chavez, Alexis Chavez, Olivia Holland, and Jack Holland. Craig was also preceded by his parents, John and Lilly Holland; siblings, Dale Holland, Eva Milleren, and David Holland; and nephew, Jeff Husketh.

Craig was well known for telling a million dad jokes-often repeated and always delivered with a grin. The soundtrack of his life was filled with classic rock from the 1960's and 1970's, music that accompanied countless family moments and memories.

Craig will be remembered for his humor, his service, and his unwavering love for his family. His legacy lives on through the stories shared, the laughter echoed, and the love he leaves behind.

A graveside service will be held in Greenwood Memorial Park on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at 1 p.m.; followed by a celebration of life.
