Dan will be remembered by me as the consumate gentleman. From the day in 1967 when we met in Vienna Dan, Janna, and I have enjoyed an extraordinary friendship unhampered by time and distance. To call Dan "my dear friend" has and will continue to be a very special pleasure. I'll miss Dan and I'll never forget him and his gracious and generous hospitality.
