Danny Gillean Obituary
Funeral: 2 p.m. Monday at Walnut Creek Baptist Church. Burial: Azleland Memorial Park. Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Biggers Funeral Home.
Danny was born July 6, 1944, in Mount Pleasant to John A. and Thelma V. Gillean. He was an Azle resident for over 20 years and a former owner of Quality Trailer Products.
He loved being outdoors, whether hunting, fly fishing, NASCAR racing, playing golf, skiing or being on the lake.
He loved his family and will be missed by all.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Rex Gillean.
Survivors: Wife, Denise Gillean of Azle; children, Debbie Graham and husband, Jim of Sunnyvale, Danny Gillean Jr. and wife, Kim of Mesquite, Tim Gillean and wife, Angie of Plano, Ryan Gomas of Azle, Tiffany Gomas of Dallas and Shelby Gillean of Azle; sisters, Bettye Greenlee of Daingerfield and Kattye Ebarb of Garland; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

You were a best friend to Dad and Ryan is a great friend to me. We hunted, we golfed, we talked, we had fun and our families are connected in a special way. I thank God that you can be "Dan Dan the golfin/huntin Man" again and not have to fight anymore. You were a TRUE friend and I do and will continue to miss you. Find all of us a good pasture to hunt and set a tee time and we will see you when it is time. I love you, Dan.
