I did not know Officer Medlin, but I wish the best for his family. I worked at Grapevine PD in 1973-74 and although the city is much larger now I know the citizens still care for their officers. God Bless the Medlin family!.

Officer Medlin was a fine officer and a good friend to me and all of the other wrecker drivers at B&B Wrecker service. I met Darron when I was picking up a vehicle from an aresst of his, and my wrecker broke down and he stayed at the scene on the side of the highway while i fixed my truck to help protect me from traffic. Even though he had things to do he offered his time freely to me and for that I will forever be greatful to him. My wife and I send our condolences to his family in their time of grief.

My prayers go out to the Medlin family. May God comfort you, give you strength to get through each moment in each day. I also pray that Sarah and Laura (I have a Sarah and Laura also), will have comfort also, as with the rest of the family and friends. Especially our Grapevine Police force. God give them strength and safety, for we don't know the time in which we will be called home. Find comfort and peace in knowing you will see him again in Heaven.
