David Casillas Obituary

David Richard Casillas, 44, a cook at Casillas Restaurant, died Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2006, in Decatur.

Funeral Mass: 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Johns Catholic Church where he was a member. Burial: Cemeterio Mexicano. Father Gonzales Morales will officiate. Pallbearers: Marty Casillas, Jesse Casillas, Robert Gonzales, Joseph Morales, Charley Casillas Jr., Rich Alcaraz Jr. and Dennis Salas III.

David was a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan and loved playing pool and music. He was preceded in death by his sister, Juanita Salas.

Survivors: Parents, Martin and Ruth Casillas of Bridgeport; brothers, Martin Casillas Jr. and wife, Mary Helen, of Bridgeport and Charley Casillas and wife, Cecilia, of Fort Worth; sisters, Mary Martinez and husband, Jesse, of Fort Worth, Josephine Morales and husband, Joe, of Fort Worth, Ida Gonzales and husband, Santos, of Alvarado, Helen Casillas of Bridgeport Pauline Ramos and husband, Robert, of Arlington; fiancee, Lois Simon of Bridgeport; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
