I became a patient of Dr. Collin´s shortly after moving to Granbury in the early 80´s Eighteen months earlier I experienced a botched surgery in Houston and was terrified to undergo another surgery. Dr. Collin´s compassion and skills reassured me and guided me through surgery. My previous surgery took me three months to overcome. With Dr. Collin´s care, I was up and around in three days. I am sorry I have just learned of his passing. He was a Godsend for me.
May he rest in eternal peace, a great man.

To the entire Collins family, I was so sad to hear about David. I remember the day Harland, Peggy, and the kids were introduced to the Presbyterian Church in Guymon. David became one of my best friends through high school and college. I wish I had kept in contact with him - he sounds like an exceptional and caring doctor. Harland and Peggy: you were there for us through a lot of losses - please know our hearts and prayers are with you now. Janet: you and David raised three wonderful girls. That's a testament to your commitment to each other and to your children. Hardy, Edward, and Amy: My thoughts are with you. You had a wonderful brother.

dr. collins was my father inlaws dr. at first and after he passed away i became his patient. he understood my feelings about going to the dr. he never wore a white smock to see me. it was always a colored smock or he came in his shirt and trouswers. he was a very caring man. when he new i was hurting due to my gall bladder he imediatley put me in the hospital and i had surgery that same evening. he would always come in and pat me on the knee, that was his way of putting me at ease while i was in his office.
my husband and i will truley miss him. good bye dr. collins we will miss you dearly.

We are all extremely grateful to have had Dr. Collins in our lives, and especially in my kids, as he was their first doctor in Granbury and they truly loved and trusted him. We send our love to all his extended family and want you to know our prayers are with you in the loss of this great, kind man.

My symapthy goes out to Dr. Collins family, who loved him so much, I was a patient of his for many years and he was the one who cared enough about me as a patient when it was discovered I had breast cancer, he pestered me, he called me from work every day until he knew I had an appt to get a biopsy, he truly cared about me as a patient and he called me his friend, because he knew that I may not even go back to a doctor. He saved my life and I know he did many other people too, He really cared and I will never forget how kind and caring he was. I am so sorry to lose this man from our earth, but as they said earlier, I guess God needed another ANGEL in heaven. I hope to see him again someday. God bless the family that loved and cared for him and heal your hearts.I know he is standing with God right now, but I am selfish and sad at the same time.
I will forever miss my good doctor.
