David Guajardo Obituary
Funeral: 11 a.m. Monday at St. Andrews Catholic Church. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Rosary: 6 p.m. Sunday in Mount Olivet Chapel.
David was born Nov. 12, 1954, in Fort Worth to Juanita and Chevy Guajardo. He was a devoted Third Degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus and served on the council. He was a member of St. Andrews Catholic Church. David shared his compassion for others through his love of cooking.
He was preceded in death by both parents.
Survivors: Wife of 35 years, Yolanda Guajardo; daughters, Christi Doporto and husband, Louis, and Melissa Guajardo; sons, Christopher and Marcos Guajardo; sister, Rita Cullum and husband, Jerry; brothers, Joe and Lupe Guajardo; and grandchildren, Isaiah and Nevalee Guajardo, Gavin Doporto and Alanna Flores.

My brother David was the best man in the world. He was so kind and giving to everyone. He would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He loved his family unconditionally. He would be so proud of all of his kids and grandchildren. I know that he is still watching over all of us. I love you Bro and miss you everyday. Sissy.

I am so sorry to have just heard of David's death. I too had worked with David at Dispenser Services many years ago. He was a true and honest person - My prayers go to each member of your family. I know that the family spent many hour making tamale's for the holidays season- It was a source of pride that David always smiled about.
I have always remembered that and will share the remembrances of your family with mine, when we share tamales during the holidays.

Yoli, I was saddened to hear of the death of your beloved husband, David. I knew from your Mom that he had been ill, but that he was determined to beat his illness. Yoli and family,
We all know that David is now in Paradise with his Mom and Dad. He is no longer in pain. I see him dancing and cooking for everyone in heaven and as we remember all those good times we had as youth know that they will never be forgotten and always remembered and as we smile and laugh at all those good times. It is the memories Dave left us all with that will always be remembered.
