Richland Hills, Texas - David Ragan, 88, stepped into heaven Wednesday, November 27, 2024.
Funeral Service: 1:30 p.m. December 12, 2024, at Richland Hills Baptist Church, 6852 Baker Boulevard, Richland Hills, Texas 76118; with visitation at 12:30 p.m. and interment to follow service at Bluebonnet Cemetery in Colleyville.
David L. Ragan was born May 20, 1936, in Keota, Oklahoma. Mr. Ragan worked 34 years for Bell Helicopter. He enjoyed working as City Councilman and then Mayor of Richland Hills. Being involved as a member of Richland Hills Baptist Church was important to him and his family.
He will be remembered as a dedicated father and Papaw.
David is survived by daughters, Regena Tarkington, Ronda Hayworth with spouse, Ward and Renee Blue with spouse, Del; 7 adult grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
