David Trussell Obituary

David Ross Trussell

May 11, 1949 - April 15, 2025

Fort Worth, Texas - Dave Trussell, a resident of Fort Worth, Texas, died there after an adventurous life travelling around the world. He was born to Jesse Lorene Trusell and William Warren Trussell in Hill Couty Texas on May 11, 1949. He grew up on the family farm, established by his grandparents in the late 1800s. He was a skilled horseman and generous brother, who let his little sister tag along on afternoon horseback rides. He graduated from Baylor University with a degree in English Literature and began a long career in commercial truck sales where his naturally gregarious personality opened doors around the world. He finished his career as Director of Marketing at Nissan Diesel America. He enjoyed western culture, stray dogs, gardening, travelling, and telling tales at the neighborhood pub. Dave is survived by a daughter, Amy Wallace, two brothers, William and Joe Trussell, and two sisters, Mary Duty and Susan Cook. A memorial service to celebrate Dave's life will be scheduled in the near future. Further details will be announced when available.
