David Risdon Westen FORT WORTH--David Risdon Westen, 74, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 13, 2020. MEMORIAL SERVICE: 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 14, 2020, at Solid Rock Baptist Church, 121 Verna Trail N, Fort Worth, Texas, 76108. NOTE: Due to circumstances beyond our control, please follow the obituary at GreenwoodFuneralHomes.com for any service updates or changes. David was born in Des Moines, Iowa, on Jan. 24, 1946, to Reverend Charles William Westen and Mildred Maxine Kuhn Westen. David was preceded in death by his parents, Reverend Charles William Westen and Mildred Maxine Kuhn Westen. SURVIVORS: Daughter, Katherine Hoeppner (husband, Richard); son, Karl Westen (wife, Melissa); sisters, Deborah Westen and Rebecca Teater (husband, Ron); eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and countless other family and friends.
