Dinah Aaron Obituary

Dinah Layne Aaron, 46, went to be with her heavenly Father on Sunday, Dec. 18, 2005, in Granbury.

Funeral: 2 p.m. Thursday at Wiley Funeral Home. Burial: Long Creek Cemetery in Hood County. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Dinah was born Dec. 14, 1959, in Lubbock to Wilbert and Elaine Hall Layne. She grew up in east Fort Worth and graduated from Eastern Hills High School in 1978. She enjoyed being outdoors and visiting with her family.

Survivors: Husband, Ricky Wells of Granbury; daughter, Britany Jones and husband, Sye, of Weatherford; sons, Troy Aaron and Jacob Wells, both of Granbury; parents, Wilbert and Elaine Layne of Cresson; brothers, Stephen Layne of Cresson and Bubba Mele and wife, Betsey, of Benbrook; two nieces; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

I remember fun slumber parties when we were 15 and 16 at Dinah's house. She was the life of the party and I treasure our friendship. Heaven is a brighter place with her in it. My prayers are with her family.

I was so sorry to read of Dinah's passing. I taught Dinah in the 3rd grade at Crestwood Elem. I have not kept up with her thru the years, but she was a delightful little girl.I want to extend my sympathy to her parents. May God give you the daily strength to get thru these days of sorrow.
