HURST, Texas - On February 24, 2021, Donald Turner, Jr. was called home to Jesus. Don was born December 4, 1932, he was a man who loved God and devoted his life to Jesus. For many years he was manager for Lifeway Christian Resource Bookstore before retiring after 30+ years.

Don read a variety of books and enjoyed helping others (especially ministers) with research.
Don often looked forward to camping in the mountains of several states such as Colorado, Oklahoma, Alaska and many others. Don enjoyed traveling internationally as well as vacationing in the United States.
How do you put on paper how wonderful a man is and how thankful you are that God brought Don into your life? Don was a loving, gentle man who enjoyed being with his family. He loved his grandchildren and would watch the kids play for hours. Don enjoyed music and being in the choir and sharing tales of his earlier life and growing up in Dallas and Oklahoma, he was a delight to be around.

Above all God was loved by Don. Don will ALWAYS be loved and greatly missed by his friends and family.
