Dorothy Trimble Obituary

Dorothy M. Trimble, 76, known as "Dotty" to her family and friends, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 10, 2009.
Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Monday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery.
Dorothy was born March 27, 1933, in Paris, Texas. She spent most of her youth and young adulthood in and around the Paris area. As a young woman, she made an excellent waitress because she liked and enjoyed people. She was always well liked and made friends easily. Dotty was a hard worker, no matter what the job, and she always gave 100 percent of her effort to any task she was given. She went to work at Westinghouse Electric and was employed there for over 10 years. When Westinghouse closed, she eventually went back to waitressing and in doing so, met the love of her life, a truck driver from Fort Worth. In 1969, they married and settled in Euless and lived there 31 years. During that time, Dotty went to work at TI Supply Assembly Center. With promotions throughout the years, she worked her way up to become a buyer at the Lemmon Avenue location. But ultimately, she relocated to the Richardson facility and worked there in the Information Systems Division until she retired.
In addition to her jobs, Dotty raised three girls. She always put her children first, trying to solve or eliminate all their problems. In fact, she spent most of her life trying to help others. She was a caregiver at heart, adopting and raising two infant grandsons as her own. She cared for her widowed, live-in mother until her death and then for her husband, who developed Alzheimer's disease.
Dotty was active in church, teaching ladies' Sunday school class, helping with VBS, the nursery and visitation, as well as assisting with administrative office duties. She was also a servant to the community, volunteering at N.E.E.D. in Hurst and driving shut-ins for Care Corps. She touched so many lives and the void left in her absence will be hard to fill. She will be greatly missed.
Dotty was preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Louise Reed, and her beloved husband of 32 years, LeRoy Trimble Jr.
Survivors: Daughters, Myra Riggs of Lake Bridgeport, Cordelia Collins of Euless and Doretha Roberts of Fort Worth; sons, Jonathan Trimble of Paris and Justin Trimble of Saginaw; grandchildren, Shawn, Jasiel and Zhona Collins of Euless and Kearcie Leota of Grand Prairie; and great-grandchildren, Tyler, Tristan and Presley Collins and Chanel Leota.

Mother,

You have allways been my guardian angel, my best friend in this world. You loved me with all of your heart and I know that you was not ready to let go of me just yet but mother I want you to know that I am going to be just fine. You raised me into a fine young man. You have taken care of me my entire life and for that I am eternally grateful mom. I miss you more than anybody I have ever known and words cannot express the void that lies within my heart. I dont think that time will ever truly heal the physical seperation I feel inside. But know that you will allways forever live inside my heart. And I cannot wait to see you again.. When the day comes that the Lord calls me home as well we will be together again mom. For now go with my love knowing that I will never ever forget you mother. I think about you everyday. Go now and be with the Lord, Tell Dad, Mamie, Uncle Timothy I love them and I will see you again on that glorious day we all see Jesus. I love you mama I promise I wont disappoint you I will strive my hardest to make my own way in life and make you proud mom. I am so glad that you got to see me in the U.S Army and experience that momment of triumph with me. We have had great memories mom and just know you allways have been my hero and the greatest woman Ive ever known. I love you more than anything mom and I will miss you more than ever now.

I am saddened for all you went through for so many years and now I know you are no longer suffering. You are drinkng living water and walking on streets of gold, sitting at the feet of Jesus!

What a glorious day that must have been to be with all your loved ones again and I can not wait until we see each other again.
I love you and miss you dearly , but know you have began your new life, eternal now.
God truly blessed you with a special gift of a daughter, Myra, and she has taken care of so much, been there to meet your every need, taken care of everything to be exact!

Mother you will always be with me in my memories and I can't thank you enough for all that you've done for me through out the course of your life.

I promise I will do my very best to live up to what you've taught me and will do my best to impress upon others what a great and wonderful son you've raised up as a living testiment to you.

Be sure to tell Dad that I love him and I look forward to the day I can be reunited with you all again.

Love you always,
Jonathan Trimble

Dear Mom,
I am so very proud of you and how you never gave up in spite of unsurmountable odds. But now you have now the ultimate victory over death because you already had accepted the sacrifice paid by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. And HE carried us through this whole ordeal and never left us. I will be forever grateful for the times we shared, in spite of the obstacles we faced together. I will miss you terribly until we are once again reunited in heaven where there is no suffering. I love you with all my heart and will continue to honor your memory as long as I live. Fly, soar and dream now, my darling and enjoy all that God has prepared for you!
Your loving daughter,
Myra
