Shirley and Milton,
Our prayers are with you and The Briscoe Family. Mr. Briscoe was such a nice and kind man. Wherever you saw him he was always so cordial. My brothers, cousins and I all attended Carroll M. Peak 1st through 6th Grade and we were more afraid of Mr. Robinson a 6th teacher, than we were of Mr. Briscoe. He will truly be missed.
May God Bless and Strengthen you each day.

As a 1st grader at Carroll Peak Elementary School in 1963, Mr. Briscoe became my first love. He made us all feel so special. He was a father to all those under his care. He was well loved. Please accept my sympathies in your time of sorrow.

As many did, I knew this great man as the principal of Carrol Peak in the 1960s. He was sweet and fair. I remember him coming to my aid many times when some teachers would become unfair and judge me. He also would attend my boxing matches at Carrol Peak when I was a student there and later my matches throughout the Metroplex when I became a champion amateur boxer. My cup will runneth over missing this great man's physical life. I look forward to seeing him on the other side one sweet day. Until then,

Education has lost one of its finest in the passing of Mr. Briscoe. I was blessed to have him as a principal and twice blessed to be able to serve him as a customer at the SacK N Save on Berry and I-35. Mr. Briscoe was truly a wonderful man and gentleman. You never met a more delightful person. To his surviving family remember that God makes no mistakes.
