Doug, Mike, Melinda and Gary, I am so sorry for the loss of Mr. Hamblin. So many memories rush through my mind thinking back to our childhood on Yeary Street. Know that each and every one of you are in my prayers. May God give you all strength to get through this very difficult time. God Bless. Love to all, Norrie

I have wonderful memories of visiting Uncle Nelson and Aunt Merlene at their home in Ft Worth. Uncle Nelson was the one that played with the kids while Aunt Merlene was in the kitchen.
I also enjoyed seeing him at family reunions and at Grandma and Grandpa Harris's house. He was always cheerful and glad to see everyone. We will miss you Uncle Nelson.

I have so many good memories of being at your house growing up, your dad and mom always treated me like I was one of theirs. Hang onto all those great memories, they will keep you going. Y'all's dad was a really sweet quiet man. My prayers are with all of your family, love

Uncle Nelson was always the one who took me and you other cousins fishing when we stayed all summer at Ma Harris and Poppas house. My own daddy was always working and hardly had time to take us but Nelson could always be counted on. I know he liked to fish himself but I was glad he took us. Those memories from long ago are hard to forget. Cousins were always into something bad and yet Nelson never took us "to the woodshed". Fond thoughts of growing up with others who cared. Doug, Mike, Melinda and Gary I trust you all know we have great memories of those days when we all were together in the summers. Our family feels your pain. We still care even though we are not able to be with you at his time. Ken and Dorthy Harris

This man was one of my neighbors who helped shape my life. I spent many hours in my young life in the Hamblin's home. I'm sure that one of the even has home movies of me running around in diapers.

To The Hamblin family, may the love of God and the comfort of the Holy Spirit fill your hearts during these times. Nelson was one of the best men my Dad, E R Keltner ever knew. Our family will keep you in our thoughts and prayers. The Keltner Family.
