Tom,
I was very sorry to hear of your mother's passing. I had such good memories of the times at your house busting ourselves up playing tackle football without pads in your backyard. I also remember the days of Boy Scouts at John Knox and sports down at the Panther Boys Club. I'm sure that times were not as good as I remember them but it's nice to think about them anyhow.
I was surprised to see you are living up East. I guess that I thought that you'd end up as a college coach somehere in North Texas.
My Mom is still alive and active in Midland Texas. She's now 87. Dad died a few years ago in Midland. My younger sister Cynthia also died a few years ago of complications from cancer. All the rest of us are fine.
I'm about to move to the North Carolina coast where my wife and I have a house in the little town of Bath NC.
I hope that you and your family are well. Again, I'm sorry to hear of your mom's passing away but I'm glad to finally be able to communicate with you once again.
Drop me a note on my e-mail. I'd love to hear from you. My phone is 731-661-0813.
Best regards,
Chandler Smith
