Memorial service: 11 a.m. Saturday at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 12440 Rendon Road, Burleson. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Skyvue Funeral Home.
Survivors: Sons, Elvis Jr. and David; loving mother, Charlotte; brothers, Bob, Byford, Jim, Troy, Claude and Tony; sister, Avanda; grandchildren, Morgan, Andrew and Payton; 10 nieces; and five nephews.

Elvis here it is April and I was ready for new glasses so I went out to NAS/FW to get them. In talking to the girl there I casually asked if anyone ever heard from you. She told Mom and I about your passing. Words can not express the sorrow Mom and I feel. You were always so nice to Mom when she use to bring in alllllll glasses for you to tighten up. You took the time and care with every customer. Now for 1 Elvis story...Just before he left NAS/FW they had a fire in the BX, the power was toatly out...boy was it HOT!! and theres Elvis waiting on customers with a flashlight. Now that was customer service. He and I laughed about that day till he left. To his Family, be assured there is a Angel swinging from a cloud watching and smiling down upon all. MB and Pat

Elvis is so missed here at Luck Optical..No matter what was on my mind, he would say, "There goes that girl with that pretty smile." and I couldn't help but smile. He was such a great guy and my heart goes out to his family. I will forever keep you in my prayers.

Elvis was larger than life; he could always make you laugh and the smile that was on his face was contagious. He had a great sense of humor and always had a story to tell. It's been years since I have seen Elvis, but I have often thought of him and always wished him well. He will be truly missed.

Elvis had a smile that could light up a room. He loved God, his family and friends. If you knew him, you know he loved his music. He enjoyed to sing and was very talented. He could be very "goofy" and loved to have fun. I feel blessed to have known him and will cherish the good memories.

Dear, Nicholson Family I am so sorry to hear your loss I dont know if anyone remembers me but I am sherry's daughter melissa Me and Elvis had a lot memories and I know Elvis and my mom have had memories also, but there is just one thing I will never forget him and always love him. He was a great man, and when I was diagnosed with cancer my mom had called him to let him know what was going on and he was always so nice and kind. We will always remember him.
