Graveside service: 11 a.m. Saturday in Shannon Rose Hill Memorial Park. Visitation: The family will receive friends 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Margaret Burns was born March 23, 1929, in Detroit, Texas. She was a mother, friend and counselor to all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Bob, and son, Stephen Burns.
Survivors: Sister, Nellie Miller; brothers, Kenneth and Max Doyle; sons, David Burns and wife, Janie, Michael Burns and Richard Burns and wife, Sue; six grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and numerous extended family.
