Funeral: 12 p.m. Thursday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment to follow.
Estella was preceded in death by her mother, Febe Lopez Mercado.
Survivors: Father, Lupe S. Mercado; daughters, Amanda Marie Rhodes and Shianne Chambless; sisters, Leticia and Atilana; brothers, Tito and Ricardo; grandchildren, Izeah and Gia; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was a teacher and not just in school she told everybody something in one way or the other she taught me how to make sense of things that didn't make sense she's very patient and giving she loves her grandbabies so dearly it is my honor pleasure to have known her she graced my life with her presence I will never forget her with all my love dolly
