Farnham Nadin Obituary

Farnham B. Nadin Sr., 90, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 14, 2013. Graveside service: 3 p.m. Friday in Laurel Land Memorial Park. Farnham was born March 1, 1923, in Fort Worth to Frank G. and Elizabeth Blacker Nadin, the fifth of six children. He served in World War II in the Army Air Corps and was stationed on Guam and Saipan. He worked for the U.S. Postal Service, Mrs Baird's Bakery and retired from Montgomery Ward on West Seventh Street after 27 years of employment. He married Thelma Louise Sellers in January 1950. They had four children and moved to Lake Worth in 1968. Farnham was preceded in death by his wife; son, Rodney; and granddaughter, Elizabeth Nadin. Survivors: Son, Farnham Jr.; daughters, Charlotte Nadin and Marsha Pittman (Barry); six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
