Frank Artmier Obituary

Frank "Pop" Artmier, 84, passed away Sunday, Aug. 8, 2010. Funeral: 9:30 a.m. Thursday in Mount Olivet Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home. Frank was born May 1, 1926, in Arlington. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and U.S. Navy during Korean War. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marty Artmier. Survivors: Daughter, Cheryl Parker; sons, Marty Artmier and Rus Artmier and his wife, Pam; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchildren; brother, Tommy Artmier; sister, Valerie Wiggins; and a host of other family and friends.
