Frankie Castle

1936 - 2020

Frankie Lucille Castle died September 14, 2020, in Oak Harbor, Washington. Frankie was born in Houston, Texas on January 28, 1936, to Jay and Eunice (Baker) Hawkins. Her father died when she was 3 years old. In 1939, Frankie, her mother and baby brother moved to Fort Worth, where she lived for the next 60+ years. She attended Trimble Tech high school. After raising 6 children, Frankie was a data entry clerk for many years, at one time working for the Tarrant County Probate Clerk's office.

Frankie was preceded in death by her parents, Jay Hawkins and Eunice DeLuca; son, Robert Michael McBride; sister, Velma Gordon; grandsons, Ross Bielski and Brandon Wells; stepfather, Sam DeLuca; and husband, Sidney Castle. She is survived by her brother, Jerald W. Hawkins of Hollister, CA; children, Phyllis McBride, Daniel McBride, and Joanne Wells all of Fort Worth, Kenneth McBride of Del Norte, CO, and Shawn Whitlock of Oak Harbor, WA; 16 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.
