Freddie Glenn Obituary
Joe served as a Deacon and an Elder in theFirst Presbyterian Church in Arlington. Joe was also active in the Delta Sigma Pi fraternity. Joe was an active golfer, fisherman, as well as a woodworker. He was also an avid reader and often had two or three books going at the same time.
Joe is survived by his wife Lila, his brother Wendell Glenn, his sister Glenda Powell, as well as his daughters Deirdre Chavez and Dawn Rosson and her husband Mark Rosson. He had 6 grandchildren whom he adored; Alec Chavez and his wife Natalie, Camryn Savage and her husband Mike, Addison Miller and her husband JT, Noah Rosson, Baylee Rosson and Rexton Rosson.
Services for Joe will be August 29, 2025 at DFW National Cemetery at 2:00. The family asks in lieu of flowers, donations be made to First Presbyterian Church in Arlington, Texas or to a charity of your choice.

Joe Glenn was my boss in HUD in the 1980's. He promoted me and was somewhat a mentor. I'm very sorry to hear of his passing. My condolences to his family.

Joe was my boss for awhile at HUD in Fort Worth. He was one of the nicest bosses I ever had. After retirement, many years ago, my husband and I ran into him at a bbq restaurant here in Burleson. He had just finished playing golf & was with some of his buddies. My sympathy to all of his family members.

I worked with Joe in the Lubbock HUD office. Eventually I transferred to Fort Worth as well. He was the ultimate gentleman and a very nice person to work with. My deepest sympathies to his family.

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Joe. I worked with Joe many, many years ago at HUD, in Lubbock. He was such a nice person. My thoughts and prayers are with Lila and his family.
