Oh Helen, love you dearly! Dark times but glad you wrote him. I can only hope that my marriage will be filled with the love, humor and strength that y'all had. I know Freddie is near to you now and I pray that you will feel his presence even in his physical absence so that it will bring you even a small measure of comfort.

Aunt HelenI tribute to be your married celebrate and i know it is very difficult to sorrow and grief being missed him as your wonderful husband. I know Uncle Freddie 's heart give love everybody and open minded to listen and understand also good advice. he is very blessed with you whole of your life with 3 children. also he is still spirit be around you and whatever where you go. He will wait for you as long until God call you. I really missed him as smiling his face. amen

Helen, many good times we (James and I) had with you and Freddie. I remember the last time I was with you guys I tried to shave Freddie with the guard still on the razor.I love you and miss Freddie so much.I am familiar with your pain, it will get better but it will always be there.Let the Lord comfort you, He's the only One that can really cradle and love you like you need at this hour, let Him rock you in His arms. Praying for you. Come down for a spa day again, on me. Good talking to you last night.

Mrs. Tate, What a beautiful tribute to your marriage! How blessed your children are to have grown up in a house where their mom and dad exhibited the values of what marriage truly is. Love, respect, honor, commitment, friendship, humor, value,and on and on. You are in my thoughts. My dad used to always tell us, "If you do it right the first time, you won't have to take the time to do it over again." Ha! *tears* All my life, I've been trying to get it right on the first try. It's been 10 months since my husband went to sleep and didn't wake up. After 50 years, he went somewhere without me that I can't follow until it's my time. My grief and sorrow are so overwhelming even thou I know my husband is in Heaven, no longer in constant pain. He is at rest in peaceful bliss. He was my one true love, my soul mate for life, and he was loved so much. "Good-bye, Husband I'll see you when God calls me home. I love you and miss you more than words can ever convey. Dada, I miss you so much. You were the best father that I could have ever prayer for. While I am saddened that your physical presence is not here with us; I am comforted knowing that you are in a better place. I am comforted knowing that there is no pain or suffering. I know that your spirit is soaring as high as the heavens. I am blessed and tremendously grateful that God gave me the opportunity to love and honor such a great father for the past 41 years. I am a great woman today because of your teaching, guiding, protecting and loving me; showing me a better way to live, thrive and be the best I can be in life. I am appreciative of your support and encouragement as I pursued and obtained my educational goals. You were a noble model for real manhood and because of that, I will never settle for anything less. My heart is filled with a mixture of joy and pain. No matter how old a woman gets; she will always need her father and I am a testament to this fact yet I know that it was your time to leave this earthly place for a heavenly one. Thank you for always being here, there or wherever you were needed. I felt loved by you and very much cared for. To the family of my brother-inlaw. We will always miss him, remembering your wedding night when you dranked some wine. That was a good day. Although you have departed, you have left a "ton" of memories for us to cherish. Though life is short, we are sometimes "unprepared". God have blessed you by welcoming you into his arms.
