Arlington, Texas - Gary Wayne Sides, age 62, passed away peacefully on Thursday January 29th, 2026, in Arlington, Texas after a sudden illness. He was a beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Friend, and coworker, his presence will be dearly missed.
Gary was born on April 24, 1964, in Oxfordshire, England to the late William Albert Sides, Father, and Pamela Jean (Singleton) Sides, Mother, of Arlington, Texas and was the youngest of 2 children.
He is survived by his wife Lori Sides, daughter Melissa and son-in-law Ricky Pool, daughter Megan and daughter-in-law Scharrie Wright. Grand Children Layla, Jacob, Peyton, Bradley, Jaydin, Brett, Cadence and Aria, stepsons Dustin Collins, Aaron Yeager, his wife April, and his brother William Sides.
Services, a Remembrance Celebration for Gary, will be held at the Bob Duncan Center at 2800 S Center St. in Arlington, Tx. 76014 at 10:00am to 12:00pm on Saturday, February 28th, 2026. Parking: South Entrance on the left.
A Gary Sides Celebration of Life BBQ Cook-Out will be held by the family at Fielder Park at 1100 S Fielder Rd. in Arlington Tx. 76013, at 2:00pm to 5:00pm on Saturday, March 7, 2026. Parking: From the Entrance off Fielder Rd., on the Right (North and West Parking lots inside the park), All are Welcome!
