Grace H. Briscoe

Grace H. Briscoe WATAUGA--Grace H. Briscoe, 94, a widow, passed away peacefully Sunday, Feb. 25, 2018. MEMORIAL: 1 p.m. Saturday, March 10, at Calvary Lutheran Church, 7620 Baker Blvd., Richland Hills, Texas. Grace was born in St. Louis, Mo. She worked many jobs in the food industry, before moving to Texas in 1944. There she worked at Midland AFB where she met her future husband, Ottis. When he was discharged from the Army, they moved to Waterloo, Ill., where Grace has family. After several years, they moved to Waco, Texas, where they lived until they retired. Upon retirement, they moved to Richland Hills to be closer to their three children and grandchildren. They joined Calvary Lutheran Church, where Grace was very active, and she also volunteered for N.E.E.D. for 30 years. SURVIVORS: Grace is survived by two daughters; one son; special friend, Jeff Mahan, that she thought of like a son; and sister, Geneva Schaack. She had six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
