Darren Clark Sr., a beloved figure in the Grapevine Colleyville School District, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2026, at the age of 66 in Denton, Texas. Born on April 23, 1959, in Lubbock, Texas, Darren’s life was marked by his dedication to education, family, and his many passions.

Darren's career in the Grapevine Colleyville School District was characterized by his commitment to his work and colleagues.  His impact was profound and will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

On March 13, 1982, Darren married his beloved wife, Francene Clark, in Franklin, Texas. He is survived by his daughters, Julie Ruiz and her husband Alex of Crowley, Texas, and Nicole Fudge and her husband Matt of Amarillo, Texas; his son, Darren Clark Jr. and his wife Bertha of Crowley, Texas; and his brother, Dane Clark of Fort Worth, Texas. Darren also took immense pride in being a grandfather to his cherished grandchildren: Elizabeth, Darren III, Nate, Alex Jr., Evelyn, Ella, Brooke and Zack.

Darren Clark Sr. will be remembered not only for his contributions to education but also for his unwavering dedication to his family and friends. His legacy of kindness and love will continue to inspire those whose lives he touched.
